Pattaya based charitable organisation Women With a Mission (WWM) visited the Father Ray Foundation to present a donation to the value of 31,029 baht on behalf of Hankyu Hanshin Express Thailand Co., Ltd.
The three ladies behind WWM, Rosanne Diamente, Kylie Grimmer and Bronwyn Little, dedicate their time to raise funds for the underprivileged, not just here in Pattaya but also further afield in the refugee camps near the town of Mae Sot on the Thai-Myanmar border.
The funds donated by Hankyu Hanshin Express Thailand Co., Ltd. will be used to provide accommodation at the Redemptorist Vocational School for People with Disabilities Nong Khai campus, and were gratefully accepted by Father Michael Picharn Jaiseri.
Suporntum Mongkolsawadi, managing director of the Father Ray Foundation and the driving force behind the Nong Khai campus was also present to thank the three ladies for their continued support. The Nong Khai campus is still in its early days, currently educating just seventeen students and teaching in rooms borrowed from a local monastery. It is hoped that with generous support the school will eventually be as big and successful as the Vocational School for People with Disabilities in Pattaya.
