More than 100 shoppers and retail workers offered up their arms to give blood to the Banglamung Red Cross at Central Festival Pattaya Beach.
Promotions Manager Aisika Songserm organized the blood drive with Red Cross head Nuanjan Saeng-Uthai Sept. 26 at the beachfront mall. Positioned as a merit-making activity, the event offered donors an opportunity to help area hospitals in honor of HM the King’s upcoming birthday.
The drive collected 115 units of blood for a total of 42,150 cc.

“I am happy to see the huge response to this blood-donation campaign,” Nuanjan said. “The blood donated will help patients in hospitals and prolong their lives. I urge Pattaya citizens to donate blood whether it is at hospitals or wherever you see a blood drive.”
