Bakers at the Amari Orchid Resort & Tower rolled out another wonder for Mother’s Day, this year offering up slices of an 83-meter-long strawberry almond cream cake for charity.
Made of fresh strawberries and strawberry jam, slices were sold at Central Center Aug. 8 and 9 with funds going to the One Baht Coins for Life program to support underprivileged children throughout Thailand by providing them with educational assistance and encouraging them to take part in local community projects.
Slices were sold at 70 baht each or 790 baht for meter-wide section of 12 slices. (Amari PR)
