Pattaya’s first gallery offering “4-D art” has opened, bringing another new perspective to the city’s tourist attractions.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome and about 100 others attended the Jan. 23 opening of Amazing Art on Soi 4/1 off Third Road in North Pattaya. President Thongchai Rochrungrangsee and Managing Director Chun Shin il welcomed the guests, which included celebrities Mario Maurer and Nuttanicha “Nychaa” Dungwattanawanich as emcees.
The gallery offers “4-D” paintings, that not only protrude off the wall, but feature lights, sound and color. The exhibits lend themselves naturally to unique photographs.

The museum is split into eight zones: Famous paintings, everyday life, sports, extreme sports, literature, cinema, animals, and volcanoes.
Admission is 300 baht for foreigners and 150 baht for children, double the rate charged for Thais.

He said the target customers are shutterbugs who want to be photographed interacting with the exhibits. The museum even marks optimum places for photographers to stand. Some of the paintings can be touched.
