The Australian Chamber of Commerce was the host for the combined chamber networking event held the MoMo Café at the Marriott Courtyard in South Pattaya on the 15th of July.
This is the second time the hotel has hosted the combined Chamber and the Momo Café proved to be a good venue for the networking with plenty of space to move around and greet colleagues and make new acquaintances.
The event was sponsored by the MoMo Café, whose food & beverage team made a huge effort to make an impression on the guests. With an abundance of hot tasty treats and the attentive staff servicing the networkers with a selection of canapes as well as ice cooled beers, wine and soft drinks.
The hotel itself has a full choice of rooms from superior, pool view, deluxe, studio and 2 bedroom suites and can cater for meetings and weddings.
On the night, a business card was drawn and one lucky networker won two nights in a deluxe room at the hotel. AustCham President Brenton Mauriello made a short speech to acknowledge the Marriott Courtyard for their support in the event.
Many prominent figures from the community were present and the consensus seemed to be that business was still a challenge and that is was certainly ‘survival of the fittest’.
But as many are very well established in business their companies were perhaps more resilient than others.
These events certainly attract a broad range of professionals working in recruitment, hospitality, logistics, the automotive sector, construction and financial management.
The next Combined Chamber Networking is scheduled for the 19th of August, full details of which will be printed in subsequent issues of the Pattaya Mail.
