Pattaya-area residents and businesses raised 4 million baht to donate to victims of the calamitous earthquake in Nepal.
Chonburi Gov. Khomsan Ekachai accepted the funds from Banglamung District Chief Chakorn Kanchawattana May 6 as part of the province-wide campaign to help those affected by the 7.9-magnitude quake that killed more than 7,000 people.
As part of its relief effort, Chonburi organized a “Kindness Day” fundraiser in Muang District May 8.
