Gov. Pakarathorn Thienchai and his wife Supaporn kicked off the Dec. 5 event at the provincial hall.

The day began with the ordination of 102 monks and alms giving. Performances representing unity and good intentions followed.

It was then on to the real “do good for Dad” work, with students, soldiers, police, civil servants and the general public joining to clean roads, prune trees, cut grass, pull weeds, clean canals and tidy up government property.
