Pattaya offers many ways for people in business to make new connections, one of which is the very informal ‘After Hours’ networking, which is held roughly every three months.
After a relatively subdued few months, the most recent After Hours was held once again at Jameson’s Pub on Tuesday the 29th of November.
After Hours fills a niche for people looking for an alternative way to network, away from the more formal events around town – After Hours is basically a mid-week get together, a few drinks, a bite to eat and a way to interface with business owners, managers from various sectors.
Entrance to event is free of charge and the landlord of Jameson’s Kim Fletcher lays on complimentary snacks and competitively priced happy hours.
Attendance this time was somewhat on the low side, probably due to the fact that many events had been cancelled over the last six weeks. However, those who were there were able to mingle, exchange business cards and share a drink.
The event is organized by Mark Bowling, chairman of the Eastern Seaboard British Chamber of Commerce Thailand and forms one of the many events hosted by the BCCT.
Details of forthcoming chamber events can be found in the Pattaya Mail and on the chamber website: http://members.bccthai.com/bcct
