The Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya donated 10,000 baht to aid victims of flooding in the South.
Club President Dzenana Poppin gave the money to students from Pattaya School No. 8 who performed music at Lumpini Jomtien Condo to raise funds for the flood victims.
The young buskers sang songs in memory of HM King Rama IX, which impressed many passersby and residents, who chipped in funds to both reward the kids and help the needy in the hard-hit southern provinces.
Peerinee, the manager of the condo building, also organized a “market of love” to give back to residents. On sale were daily necessities, consumer products, food and drinks at reasonable prices.
The day also saw games and activities for kids, including a contest to draw the longest drawing of the word “Lumpini”.
The kids also got a chance to be comedians, with three youngsters winning prizes for making the audience laugh.
