Following the tie-up between Linda’s restaurant and Tohkaiya Products, this has allowed Japanese Executive Chef Katsutoshi (Kato) Ishibashi to present his products and how they can be best used in Norwegian cooking.
Linda’s restaurant is under the guiding hand of Linda Eiksund, a most interesting international lady. A restaurateur, born in Hong Kong, but spent 20 years in Norway, and is a talented business woman and chef herself.
Linda Eiksund and Japanese Executive Chef Katsutoshi (Kato) Ishibashi make a good team for interesting, and delicious, new concepts for Linda’s restaurant diners.
Linda explained to the Pattaya Mail head honcho, Peter Malhotra, she is revamping the menu and has been working with chef Kato to bring new concepts for her diners.
Two of the new appetizers were a Roulade of Norwegian Smoked Salmon and a Dory Filet wrapped with Parma Ham. Both of these were given top marks.
Main course items presented that day included a Confit of Duck Leg with red cabbage chutney, red wine sauce and mashed potatoes and a grilled Norwegian Salmon steak with pickled pumpkin, cream spinach and onion.
With even more additions to Linda’s menu, it is certainly worthwhile going down Thappraya Road and becoming acquainted again with Linda’s restaurant.
