Another school holiday has come, which means it was time for another trip to the Thai Garden Resort for kids from the Abundant Life Home.
The hotel, under leadership of owner Gerrit Niehaus, general manager Rene Pisters and hotel manager Danilo Becker, hosted the HIV-infected children, whose parents died of AIDS, for several days for the seventh consecutive year.
Home founder Karen Sanchez was in North America seeking new sponsors, so two volunteers accompanied eight youngsters this time.

Alex Goertzen, 28, and his wife Juliana, 31, both from Canada, have worked for Abundant Life for nine months. They came to Thailand after learning of the home through their home churches.
Both are disappointed to be leaving in a month, but promised they will return for vacation to check on the children.
After three days at Thai Garden Resort, the children left looking forward to next year.
