Ocean Marine Boat Show sets sail Nov. 26-29

More than a billion baht in yachts and luxury watercraft will be showcased when the Ocean Marina Boat Show sails into Pattaya again Nov. 26-29.

Spread out over 14,000 sq. meters, the show last year was visited by more than 6,000 people over its four days. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Visitors will be able to test boats and participate in activities, including yachting, paddle-boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, and fishing. Or they can savor food and drink selections while enjoying music in the park by the sea.

The maritime event also will feature a display of supercars, superbikes, and luxury real estate.

The highlight of the show will be the official launch of the Ocean Emerald, one of just four identical super yachts in the world.

These palatial boats were designed by Lord Norman Foster, recognized as one of the world’s great architects. He has designed a number of skyscrapers and buildings including Wembley Stadium, the Millennium Bridge in London and Apple’s headquarters in the US.

All the yacht’s furnishings and fittings are provided by two of the world’s leading luxury brands. The Italian manufacturer Cassina provides the furnishings and the kitchen, and the gallery equipment is provided by Schiffini.

In addition to the Ocean Emerald, a variety of other luxury yachts will be showcased at the event. Brands include Princess (a yacht brand under the LVMH group), Azimut, Cranchi, and Simpson Marine from Italy.
