Pattaya City Hall has given the Pattaya Police a 1.3 million baht motorcycle to be used as an escort vehicle when members of the Royal Family come to town.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome presented the 1,300 cc, 4-cylinder Yamaha to police superintendent, Col. Nanthawut Suwanla-Ong Dec. 22.

The bike is equipped with siren, amplified speaker, radio and an automatic windscreen. It has a top speed of 280 kph.
Pol. Col. Nanthawut thanked the mayor for the vehicle saying it is important to have vehicles with the highest safety standard escort the Royal Family.
