Phoenix-Pattaya Rotary club donates playground to CPDC

The Rotary Club of Phoenix-Pattaya ensured hours of fun for at risk-youths when members presented a playground to the Child Protection and Development Center.

Radchada Chomjinda, CPDC director, welcomed Praichit Jetapai, chairwoman of the YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center, and Rotary Phoenix Vice President Stephan Heynert to the opening of the 20,000 baht playground at the Huay Yai facility Sept. 222.

The donation was made for the children’s recreation and to foster togetherness.

CPDC cares for 69 children between the ages of seven and 18, most of whom are orphans or were street children.

CPDC is located in on 14 rai of property with seven children’s dormitories and a volunteer house. It also offers a library, meeting room, office buildings, and multipurpose center.
