The Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC) recently held its Annual General Meeting at Grand Ballroom of the Holiday Inn on Beach Road. Over 70 ladies were present to hear PILC president Helle Rantsen and her 2014 committee present their end of year reports, and to welcome in new committee members for 2015.
The PILC committee for 2015 is Helle Rantsen president, Karyn Walker vice president, Sue Tait Hospitality, Kathy Greenleaf membership, Wendy Khan secretary, Ros Coleman treasure, Joyce Aldridge welfare and Vanessa Beadling newsletter.

In her opening remarks, Helle welcomed club members and spoke about the great year the club had enjoyed in 2014. Several new ladies joined the over the year, bringing the end of year membership to almost 250 members. She emphasized that PILC is well known in the community for its charitable work and she thanked all those members who helped the club organize some great events during the year, allowing the PILC to successfully raise the money to support its charitable endeavors. Some of the fundraising events included: a Melbourne Cup Day, Family Fun Day, a Bowling Night, and the Annual Christmas Bazaar as well as the normal activities the club offers to all of its members, including numerous trips and outings.
After the committee members had made their reports, each member was thanked by the club for all their hard work and each person received a small token of appreciation. Then it was time to seat the new committee. Each person made a short introduction and then moved to the dais.
The AGM then was adjourned and everyone was able to enjoy the wide array of delicious food that the Holiday Inn provided in an international buffet. The meeting ended 1:30.
