Royal Garden solicits used underwear for inmates at lingerie show

Royal Garden Plaza used its second-annual lingerie fashion show to help collect used underwear for female prison inmates.

Models, including Miss Maxim Thailand 2007 Kathayawan Noinawet, stripped down June 23 to show off the latest sexy undergarments from Triumph, Sabina, Hom, Police, Pacha, Kyra and Playboy.

Pattaya Education Office Director Jintana Wetchot and Sailom Wongsasulak, president of Fight Against AIDS Foundation, encouraged the women scattered among the many male shutterbugs to reach into their dressers to donate good-condition underwear of their own to women incarcerated in jails across Thailand.

The royally sponsored Kamlung Jai Foundation is taking undergarment donations through July 15 on the ground floor of the beachfront mall. Donators will receive 100 baht gift vouchers to spend on new undies of their own.
