Anselma Niehaus was certainly surprised when she walked into the Poseidon restaurant in Jomtien last week. There, waiting for her, were her friends who turned up in droves to wish her a happy birthday.
Anselma, wife of Thai Garden Resort owner Gerrit Niehaus, was beautifully dressed as a “Lady in Red”.
Heiko Klimanschefski and his Belgian chef prepared an excellent dinner. The dessert show was special class.
Anselma gave a short speech, thanking everyone for the surprise and especially her husband for his love and support for many years.
Shortly after midnight Gerrit broke up the party, saying that Anselma’s birthday was now over, and thanked all the guests for their attendance.
