Hundreds of people, many of whom brought baskets of food to thank God for the fruits of their labor, congregated at St. Nikolas Church Sept. 16, as Roman Catholic Bishop Silvio Siripong Charatsri celebrated an early Thanksgiving mass.
Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh attended the service, which saw parishioners march in a procession around the church grounds and place flowers in front of the statues of the saints.
Food stalls were set up in the garden and people were invited to eat and drink for free and enjoy a fun afternoon.
