PSC golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, Nov. 16, The Emerald – Stableford
We took a trip down to Emerald on Tuesday with a good sized group so we had 2 flights with the split at 18 and up. The course was in good order but the greens were slower than normal.
Ken Hole (16) became winner with two very different nines; garnering only 14 points on the front nine but 24 on the back to top A flight with 38 in total. Lol (16) came second on 36 points and Darren Ottaway had a very good round to come third with 34 points off his 1 H/cap to edge out Allin Cassin on a count-back
Tuesday’s flight winners: Ken Hole and Derek Waterworth.
B Flight saw Derek Waterworth (32) take first place with 33 points, followed by Keith Hodges (26) with 31 points in second and Brian Ferrigno (26) on 29 points in third.
The near pins were shared by Lol, Derren, Mam & Brian.
Thursday, Nov. 18, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
On Thursday we travelled to Pleasant Valley and found the course to be in good condition but the greens were slow. We had a smaller field today so just the one flight and prizes going to the top two.
In first place today was Graham Hiskett (13) on 35 points, two ahead of Lol (16) in second spot.
Allan took three near pins, allowing Jon to have the other.
Note: Mulligans Lakeside plays golf generally on Tuesday & Thursday (we sometimes change to accommodate a Thai Holiday).
