PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside

Tuesday dawned fine & clear following Monday’s rainy day blues, so it was off to golf, up Hwy 7 to Pleasant Valley.  Much maligned by some, for why really escapes me, as it is, as the name suggests quite a pleasant course in a very picturesque setting.  Anyway, looking at the glass half full, means less traffic for us to deal with when playing there.

So to the round, it was Skins format again, and Clive now armed with his brand new official handicap showed glimpses of brilliance again to pick up 3 skins on the short 17th.  Ray (17) led the way with 7 skins, a couple courtesy of a nice birdie 2 on 5, while Jeff grabbed 6, leaving Allan to score the other 2 after a good par on 9.

Thursday we visited Rayong C.C. where the greens are a little on the shaggy side, making it difficult to get the ball to the hole.  Having said that, the course is very much playable and represents fair value, especially to those cart users out there.

Highlights were thin on the ground; however, mention should be made of Matt Anderson parring all par 3s on the day, showed Jeff the way, as he averaged a tick under a double bogey, following a mini disaster on 12.

Mulligans Lakeside plays golf on Tuesday & Thursday, with presentation at the course Tuesday & ML hosting on Thursdays.  Call 089 094 1841 for scheduling or enquiries.

Hope to see you there, cheers & good golfing.
