We travelled up to Khao Kheow on Monday, May 19 and after a quick check-in we set off under sunny skies and very hot conditions. The course was in reasonable shape on the day but there appeared to be a lack of high-capacity mowing equipment in use as the front nine had very long grass on the fairways.
The round took us 4 hours and 10 minutes to complete and back in the clubhouse welcomes went out to the still not retired Gordon Clegg, Gordon Evringham and Kary Aarino.
We had just the one flight and Kary Aarino was the winner with 35 points, one up on Gordon Evringham in second while Dave Richardson placed third with 32 and Gordon Clegg completed the podium in fourth on a count back over Brian Gabe.
