105th Pattaya Sports Club Monthly Golf Tournament
Friday, May 20, Pleasant Valley
Seventy-eight golfers ventured out on Highway 7 to one of the more popular venues in the area, Pleasant Valley Golf Club. We were able to tee-off on time or earlier, due to the tournament being very well organized.
The course was in quite good condition and aside from a few lost balls, some great scores were managed.
Low Gross winner Mike Alidi, right, with the PSC Golf Chairman Joe Mooneyham.
Mike Allidi was top of the heap with a fine 72 off the stick to take out the Low Gross award.
Bob Finley, playing off 12, topped the A Flight on net 69 while Andre Van Dyke and Bill Knight headed the B and C Flights on 40 points and 41 points respectively. The Ladies division was won by Rotjana Neal on 37 points.
There were numerous technical awards, details of which are listed below.
Our thanks go out to Joe Mooneyham, Golf Chairman, Max Matthews, Club Secretary, and Bob Lindbourg for welcoming the golfers and getting everyone to the proper tee on time. Also many thanks to Casa Pascal for giving all participants a voucher for a buffet brunch. They are located across from Royal Garden Plaza on 2nd Road.
