Monday, Nov. 22, Green Valley – Stableford

1st Ian Ashenden (0) 40pts

2nd John Banhng (11) 38pts

3rd Peter LeNoury (8) 37pts

4th John Emmerson (11) 36pts

Twenty-five players in our comp today and Ian Ashenden was truly the class act of the field.  A magnificent 68 off the stick with a five under front nine and one birdie and 2 bogies on the back gave him a winning 40 point score.  Well done mate!

John Bahng had another fine round with 38 points for second, Peter LeNoury was third on 37, and Emmerson fourth with 36.

Wednesday, Nov. 24, Treasure Hill – Stableford

1st Brian Prudden (18) 34pts

2nd Brian Gavagan (16) 34pts

3rd Warren Holland (21) 33pts

4th Jeff Cordeiro (7) 32pts

Judging by the scores today, Treasure Hill came out the overall winner as the speedy greens proved a challenge for most.

Brian Prudden had a back nine 17 points to edge out Brian Gavagan on count back for first place.  Warren Holland was a clear third on 33 points, with Jeff Cordeiro taking fourth after beating out Tom Balch and Ed Brubaker.

Friday, Nov. 26, Plutaluang – Stableford

1st Keith Meehan (18) 38pts

2nd Kevin Taylor (7) 36pts

3rd Brian Prudden (18) 35pts

4th Captain Bob Finley (14) 33pts

Only 2 of our 30 players today could get to their respective handicaps.  We started on the West course and finished on North.  The greens were not as fast as Treasure Hill, but were in generally good condition.

Keith Meehan steadied the ship and sailed to the victory today with 38 points.  Kevin Taylor, having just arrived back in Pattaya, guided his way around to a fine 36 points for second.  Mr. Steady, Brian Prudden, was third on 35 points and Captain Bob Finley avoided the water hazards on his way to a 33 point score.
