Wednesday, Dec. 17, Treasure Hill – Stableford
An almost identical cut as of Monday with two divisions out and the exasperated golfers’ comments regarding the wicked pin placements and the speed of the greens was reflected in the scores today.
Off the yellow tees, as always here, 33 points was the highest score of the day, with Cliff Elliott coming in with that tally to win division 2. Rick Assi took second after beating Bob Poole on a 19/17 count back, with both registering 29 points each.
In division 1, William Chang came in first with 32 points, Kit Parkington was one behind in second after scoring 21 on the front nine, and Thomas Naughton placed third with 28.

Chris Voller birdied the 13th for the only ‘2’ of the day.

It was a small turnout today due to the wedding in Buriram of Don Head and Miss Nut Ponvipa, a few mini buses left Siam Cats to travel up there for the special occasion. Congratulations to you both from all at Jomtien Golf.
Dennis Scougall received some sad news on Friday of a family bereavement back in Scotland and he has returned home for the funeral. Our thoughts are with you.
