Bangpakong was the game on Monday, a journey of just over an hour and after a swift check-in we were away off the first tee 20 minutes early under sunny skies and with a hot stiff wind. The course was once again in its usual fine condition.
The sartorially attired Walter Baechli & Jon Swanson.
The winner today was the ever colorful Walter Baechli with a fine round of 39 points, five ahead of Oddur Olafsson in second place while Dave Richardson completed the podium in third with 30.
Friday, May 28, Khao Kheow – Stableford

3rd Karl Beter (30) 31pts
4th Mike Winfield (23) 30pts
The Pete Dye designed Khao Kheow provided Friday’s challenge and again it was another hot day, but this time with no wind. The course was in good shape with fast greens.
Jon Swanson was the top man today with a fine 39 points while Oddur Olafsson placed second again, this time with 32 points. Karl Beter came third with 31 points and Mike Winfield took fourth a further point back.
