Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
Tuesday, Dec. 27, Crystal Bay – Stableford
On Tuesday we went with 3 groups to Crystal Bay where the course and greens were in good condition. It was nice sunny weather with a cool breeze, perfect conditions for a game of golf and some high scores.
Dave Maw (H/cap 15) had a good start with 5 pars, but Stuart Banks (20) was again the man as he won with a massive 46 points. Dave played well and ended with 39 for second while in third place was George Gamble (26) with 32 points.
The near pin awards went to Neil Harvey, Phillip Waite (2) and Stuart Banks.
Thursday, Dec. 29, Silky Oak – Stableford
Silky Oak was our venue for Thursday and the course was in fine shape, but it was a very windy day which made it a real challenge.
Most of the players struggled to score well with one notable exception. That man Stuart Banks again performed out of his skin to win with 45 points and take his fifth win in a row. In second place and far behind was Jonathan Pratt with 29 points.
Nears pins were shared by Stuart Banks and Owen Walkley.
