PSC Pattaya Softball
Sunday, Sept, 29, was another great outing of Pattaya softball at the ‘Colosseum’. Aside from the usual suspects we saw the return of Kevin and also had two new players, both Thai nationals.
With a very good turnout of players, both full teams matched up evenly and at 1pm it was game time. Game 1 featured the A-Team managed by Rick S. against the B-Team managed by Big Ben. It was a closely contested matchup with some good play on both offense and defense, but the B team prevailed with the victory by a score of 8 to 5.

The “Just Burgers” play of the day came late in Game 1 as the A team was threatening a comeback. With bases loaded Vince hit a hard one hop grounder to waiting shortstop Tyler, who fielded the ball and tagged second base unassisted to force the out of the hard charging Phil. He then made a perfect throw to Jesse at first base to complete the picture perfect double play to end the inning and the hopes of a comeback.
Remember PSC Softball is open to anyone looking for a great way to spend your Sunday afternoon and get some exercise. Regardless of your skill level all are welcome to play but we do ask if you’re a beginner to please show up early before the 1pm start time to receive some instruction and briefing on the rules.
