We were back at Green Valley for our usual Sunday game and it looks like they are starting to make improvements here at this course and hopefully it will soon be back to its usual good condition.

Although we again had a large group out today we decided that we would all play the same course and not divide up like we have done for the past few weeks.  We had two flights with the cut coming at eighteen and under.

Kevin Blake’s golf has really come back to form and today he had the best overall score of the day and won the A flight with thirty eight points.  Michael Williams got second place with thirty six points and Paddy Vaughan was third with thirty five.  We then had two players locked on thirty four points, with JJ Harney winning the count back over Joe Doherty who was playing his last game for this trip.

In the B flight the scoring wasn’t quite as good and Ken Hole won with thirty five points.  Joe Peters came second with thirty four points and beat Niall Caven on a count back.  Peter Henshaw got fourth place with thirty three points and Larry Eden came fifth with thirty two.

The big rollover pot in the ‘2’s was shared between Joe McArdle and Sean Marks.
