PSC Golf from Mulligans Lakeside
Tuesday, Feb. 15, Crystal Bay – Stableford
Tuesday was a visit to Crystal Bay, where our test was to be the B & C combination. However the real test of the day was the weather with miserable, heavy rain making keeping grips dry impossible. The rain was so heavy at one stage that it necessitated a delay as greens were unplayable.
Bob Edwards (12) coped best with the conditions to record a solid 32 points, edging Allan Cassin (11) who signed for 31 points, pipping Monte Sykes (6) on count-back 11/10. The count-back scores were a result of the wet conditions, as both had played good golf on the front 9.

Near Pins were spread around between Allan, Joel and Tony, who incidentally converted for a nice birdie 2.
Thursday, Feb. 17, Treasure Hill – Stableford
Thursday saw the group travel north to Treasure Hill where we played from the white tees, making it a good test for the day. Again it was Bob Edwards (12) leading the way with 35 points, shading Monte Sykes (6) into second on count-back 19/15. That made 2 games this week Monte got edged on count-back. He did gain his revenge however with winning 3 near pins, converting one for birdie 2, while K got the other one.
Note: Mulligans Lakeside plays golf generally on Tuesday & Thursday (we sometimes change to accommodate a Thai Holiday).
