Dave Hester took the honours at the society’s home course of Green Valley on Monday with 37 points. Dave finished two ahead of Ed Horrocks in second while Mel Davis, Roger Rush, Ted Gardner and Don Hachey completed the podium in that order.
Wednesday, Jan 22, Crystal Bay – Stableford
Wednesday was our away game of the week and we took the trip to Crystal Bay. The strange weather made this the coldest and windiest day of golf I have ever played in Thailand.
Despite the strong winds Dave Bramley (18) breezed to victory with an astonishing 41 points. The best of the mere mortals was Peter Henderson (19) who took second with 33 points and was in disbelief that someone could shoot 8 points better. Bill Shepley (6) was third with 32.
Friday, Jan. 24, Green Valley – Stableford

Back to Green Valley for Friday’s game and Ed Horrocks went one better than Monday as he matched Dave Bramley high total of the week. Mel Harris was second some three points off the pace and Peter Harris was another point back in third.
