First of all, don’t forget this weekend to see the pros at Amata Spring. There will be Bubba Watson, Lee Westwood, Hunter Mahan, Darren Clarke, Sergio Garcia, John Daly, Schwartzel, Ishikawa, Oosthuizen, Jaidee and the rest so get on down. We have loads of free passes so come on down and just ask for some, thanks to the Pattaya Sports Club!

2nd Henry O’Brien (21) 38pts
3rd Jeff Cordeiro (9) 38pts

Ian Brimble – November Monthly Medal winner.
The usual suspects were on the leaderboard for this week’s outing to Green Valley. Mark Wood has played here 438 times and should know every bump and bunker well. His 40 points took him to the top of the heap so well played mate, good to see you back on top! Henry the O’Brien and Mr. Jeff Cordeiro shared runner up positions whilst Martin Zimmerman was once again right up there, just like last week.
Tuesday, Nov. 27, Kabinburi (Yellow tees) – Stableford
1s Bryan Carroll (16) 30pts
2nd Ian Brimble (8) 29pts
Wednesday, Nov. 28, Kabinburi (Yellow tees) – Stableford
1st Phil Smedley (12) 37pts
2nd Bryan Carroll (16) 36pts
Another Road Trip and this time it was Kabinburi. If you have never been there before, this is a great little getaway and just over a 2 hour drive from Pattaya. The Kantary Hotel is a 5-star venue, and the Kabinburi Sports Club is a fine track in outstanding condition.
Bryan Carroll was the star of the show on this trip as he turned in a first and a second for the 2 day comp. The first round was a 15 hole event, due to a few Thai Generals taking their time on a near 6 hour round that saw the dark overcome us. The second day we were off at 7:30, so we breezed through a 4 hour round just the way it should be. T.I.T. as they say. Congrats to Bryan, Ian and Phil for a well played comp.
Some of the players on the Kabinburi Road Trip.
Remember, most of the Thais we meet on the golf course are high ranking police, military or politicians of some sort, so it is best to control ones temper as we are guests here in Thailand, as frustrating as that may be at times. Golf is much more of a social event for them and they often play as a 6-ball.
Friday, Nov. 30, Bangpra (White tees) – Monthly Medal
1st Ian Brimble (8) net 73
2nd Chaten Patel (12) net 75
3rd Arlen Wardene (26) net 76
Bangpra is not the easiest course for a Monthly Medal, but it is good to have a real test of golf once in a while. Her reputation for lightning fast greens was upheld, and everyone had a 3-putt green or two.
Tai with Bryan Carroll.
Ian Brimble has been in the frame consistently over the last couple of weeks now, so it was not entirely a surprise when he pulled off another victory to finish off his stay in Pattaya for this trip. He thought he blew it at the last 3 holes, as he finished with 3 bogeys! Chaten must have thought he was in there for another star on his shirt, but Ian stayed the course and took the top of the podium once again. It couldn’t have gone to a nicer guy, have a good trip back mate and see you on your next trip out.
