The Backyard Golf Society
With the turn in the weather, it was nice to be able to walk from the clubhouse (at Emerald Golf Course) down to the first tee without getting much of a sweat on. Eight players this week and on arrival at the first tee we were delighted to see no one was waiting, so we got straight off and preceded to have one of the quickest rounds of the year.
Dangle has finally got rid of his unwanted records of the lowest points total after new boy Gavin managed to accumulate a meager total of 10. Broken Wing took the game with 29 points and Dan M came second with a massive 27.
Nearest the pin prize went to Geoff and skin results are as follows: Dan M. (7), Broken Wing (4), Dangle (3), Martyn (2), JJ (2), with yet again (2) rollovers to next week.

We welcomed back Andy M. even though, due to injury, he was not able to play and after prize giving it was down to Ban Chang. Another week and another party – this time Mama’s Bar was celebrating 6 years in business so congratulation goes to Tip, while Linda said thanks for the take away ribs.
