In the B flight Kevin O’Sullivan won with a net seventy ahead of Glen Eldershaw in second with a net seventy one.

Tuesday, Feb. 13, Mt. Shadow – Stableford

We had our largest turnout for the year today with 39 players.  Players could select whether to play from the longer blue tees or the shorter whites and 8 selected the longer option.  The course was in great condition and the weather was great for golf.

Andy Featherstone (4) topped the group of the blues with 36 points.  A long way back in second place came Craig Hitchens(14) on 29 points, edging out Nick Caulfield (5) on count-back.

The white tees group was split into 2 divisions with A flight (up to 20 H/Cap) being won by Glen Eldershaw (17) after a three-way count-back over Ger Lodge (18) in second and John Walsh(19) in third, all with 34 points.  Fourth place went to Ted Morris (18) with 33 point and Gerard Doyle (10) completed the podium in fifth on 32.

Continuing his good form, Joe Peters (22) won the B Flight with 35 points, one ahead of Michael Seery (21) in second while John Kelly (28) was third with 33, Dan Hobbs (23) took fourth on 32 and Alec Smith (23) placed fifth with 30.

Michael Seery and Gerard Doyle shared the 2’s pot.
