Tuesday, November 22, Pattana – Stableford
To take advantage of the great value offered by Pattana, on Tuesday we joined the Pattana Challenge and a good day was had by all, however we as a group did not play well, so the best we could hope for were a few lucky draws.
Frans, Dave & Lol were all happy recipients of prizes offered by the golf club, while Wendy tried her luck at a bit of bingo (sort of tried) if only she knew those numbers. Jim Federspiel qualified for the final to be held in December, so good luck to him on the day.
Thursday,November 24, Treasure Hill – Stableford
Thursday was back to normal scheduling with a visit to Treasure Hill, where we played from the white tees. The course was playing tough, with a good breeze blowing throughout the day, but otherwise great conditions.

Brian Maddox (H/cap 20) played very well in patches to sign for 34 points, 4 wipes in that score was testament to how well he played for the majority of the round. Second and third were decided by count back, with Dave Edwards (18) getting the nod over Mike Morris (11) 17/16, after both recorded 31 points.
Near Pins were picked up by Mark, Clive & Jeff with 2.
