We were off to Pleasant Valley, just 40 minutes up route 7 in light traffic and we got off the first tee 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The weather was sunny and hot at the start but we had a 40 minute storm around the turn, which eventually cleared and left us with even more humidity for the remaining holes. The course was in good shape until the rain hit and then it got a bit soggy afterwards.
Kenny Chung was the only player who was not hampered by the wet conditions and won the day with 38 points. Henry Wong took second on a count back from Ronnie Ratte, both on 32 points, and Dave Richardson came in a distant fourth.
