Sunday, March 8, Green Valley – Stableford
Back to our usual spot at Green Valley today for our Sunday game. Now that low season is near and the group is getting smaller we decided to have just one flight and George Cullen, the only one to play to his handicap, was the winner with thirty six points.
Coming in second place was Kevin Blake with thirty five and Paddy McGowan took third after edging Phil Brown on a count back, both on 33. Shaun Merriman completed the podium in fifth with thirty two.
Joe McArdle had two 2’s and John Deardon had single to share the pot.

Tuesday, March 10, Pattana – Stableford
Today we were at Pattana, a very beautiful course and in excellent condition and also considering the quality of the course it is also good value for money. We played the B and C courses in that order, which gives you a very tough starting hole.

Phil Brown was on the podium again, winning with an excellent thirty seven points which represents a very good score for this course. In second place was Nick Caulfield with a very good thirty six and Kevin Blake had to settle for third today with thirty four. Shaun Merriman again took the last podium spot, coming fourth with thirty four.
Kevin Blake and Phil Brown shared the ‘2’s pot with one each.
