We had enough players for 2 flights at Bangpra on Tuesday and Rick Culley and Gary Ritchie were joint top scorers on the day with 37 points but Rick edged the count back to take top spot in the A Flight. Dave Strang put together 34 points to head the B Flight by one ahead of Bruce Tollitt.
Thursday, October 27, Green Valley – 4-Man Scramble
A 4-Man Scramble at Green Valley saw the team of Greg and Gary Ritchie, Alan Beck and Helmut prevail after they returned a fine score of net 59.2. They just did enough to pip the quartet of Ramsay Smith, Dave Strang, Rick Culley and Phil Cawse who came home with net 60 to take the runner-up spot.
