PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort
Tuesday, July 5, Greenwood – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to Greenwood with 2 groups and played the B &C course, which was as usual in a good condition. We were lucky with the weather; it was cloudy with just a few drops of rain and not too hot.
Daniel Oshiro (H/cap 21) confirmed his form again and won with 38 stableford points, closely followed by Paddy Devereux (22) who took second with 37 points.
The near pins were a problem today, only Alex Everden (14) reached the green for a triple.
Thursday, July 7, The Emerald – Stableford
We went to The Emerald with 3 groups on Thursday and were afraid that the course would be very wet after a night of raining, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it in perfect condition. Today was again cloudy but with no rain.
Daniel Oshiro was again on form today and won with a fine 39 points. In a repeat of Tuesday’s top two, Paddy Devereux came in second once more, this time with 34 points and in third place was Neil Harvey (15) with 32.
The near pins went to Alex Everden (twice), Mihail Iordache and Willem Lasonder.
Note: Siam Country Resort Pattaya, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
