Tuesday, April 3, King’s Naga – Stableford
On Tuesday we went to King’s Naga and the course was in good condition and always challenging. We had nice weather and an enjoyable day of golf. You get good value for money on this course.
We had no top scores today and the battle for the win was exciting between Alan Wilson and Patrick Devereux; Alan taking it with 34 stableford points and beating Patrick on the count-back. In third was Sam Gettinby with 32 points, beating Willem Lasonder on another count-back.
The near pins went to Willem Lasonder, Dave Smith and Alan Wilson.
Thursday, April 5, Crystal Bay – Stableford
Crystal Bay was our venue on Thursday and we played the C & B course which was in excellent condition and just asking for good results. The weather was sunny and warm, but pleasant enough.
Patrick Devereux showed good form on Tuesday and today he played a very consistent round without any double bogies to win with 43 points. Second at a respectable distance was Dave Smith with 37 points while completing the podium in third was Jonathan Pratt with 36 points, beating Martin Hayes on the count-back.
The near pins were claimed by Jonathan Pratt, Dave Smith and Martin Hayes.
