PSC Golf from Siam Country Resort Pattaya
It was good to see this week some old players back in our group and also a new member again.
Tuesday, Dec. 15, Crystal Bay – Stableford
On Tuesday we went with 4 groups to Crystal Bay. The course was in quite good condition, but the greens were very slow. We had a enjoyable game in nice weather and there were some good scores posted.

The battle for the overall win was between Paddy Devereux (H/cap 23) and Jonathan Pratt (11). Paddy was the man of the day though with 40 stableford points, followed by Jonathan with 39. Coming in third was Allan Cassin (10) with 36 points.
Near pin awards went to Bob Edwards with two, George Gamble and Jonathan Pratt.
Thursday,
We drove the long way to Wangjuntr on Thursday and played the Jungle course there. As always the scenery is beautiful at Wangjuntr and we had nice cool weather and the course was in good condition. The greens were difficult though and the blind holes were also a challenge.
Today Jonathan Pratt confirmed his good form and was the winner with 37 points while Joop Bijsterbosch (32) played consistently and came in second with 35.
Near pins went to Tony Wakeling (two times), Joop Bijsterbosch and Willem Lasonder.
Note: Siam Country Resort Pattaya, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 meters, with the venue on the left another 200 meters along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days.
