Pattaya United signed off their 2017 Thai Premier League campaign in style with a 3-0 victory over BEC Tero Sasana at the Nongprue Stadium in Pattaya last Saturday. November 18.

An even first half saw both teams create and spurn chances as the match remained deadlocked 0-0 at the break.  United finally made the decisive move on the hour mark as Stojanovic picked the ball up 25 yards from the BEC goal and brushed past 2 defenders before striking a powerful shot into the roof of the visitors’ net.

Picha U-Tra doubled the lead for the Dolphins in the 73rd minute with a fine drilled drive low into the corner of the BEC goal and Lee Won-Young sealed all three points for United after 80 minutes when he scored from the penalty spot after Tossaka was brought down in the visitors’ area.

United finished the season in a respectable eighth place in the table with 51 points from 34 games. Buriram were runaway champions once again with 86 points and finished 14 points clear of second placed Muang Thong United.
