Newly promoted Pattaya United finally registered their first point of the 2016 Premier League season with a hard fought 0-0 draw away at Suphanburi FC last Saturday, March 12.
United started their campaign with two back to back 2-1 defeats, first to local rivals Chonburi on the opening day of the season and then again four days later against Bangkok United in the Dolphins’ first Premier League home game for 3 years.

Pattaya would have been looking to add to their points tally this past week when they were due to take on Chiangrai United at the Nongprue stadium on Wednesday, March 16. The league then takes a break for 2 weeks and United’s next match is an away fixture in Sukhothai on March 30.
Meanwhile, Chonburi FC bounced back from a disappointing midweek 2-1 defeat at Suphanburi to draw 2-2 with Sukhothai last Saturday at the Chonburi Stadium. The Sharks now have 4 points from 3 matches.
