Crystal Bay was the game today and we got off 10 minutes early under sunny skies and with a nice breeze blowing. The course on the day was OK, with the greens fast and bumpy leaving it the luck of the draw for a ball to roll in the hole. Also just about every fairway had numerous leaks in the sprinkler system.
Kaj Aabling and Kjeld Ravn with Dave Richardson.
We rolled around in 4 hours and 20 minutes and today had much more of a low season feel to it. Back in the clubhouse welcomes went out to Peter Sindberg, Robin Flint, Silvano Pizzato and the still not retired Gordon Clegg. We also bid farewell to Michele Sancillo.
Kjeld Ravn won the A Flight with best score of the day 39 points, while Carole Kubicki took second on a count back from her husband Richard in third. Peter Sindberg finished fourth with 34 points.
Hugh O’Donnell.
Kaj Aabling won the B Flight with 36 points ahead of Franco Moretti in second, Kurt Sandgaard third and Silvo Pizzato fourth, taking the final podium spot on a count back over Dave Richardson.
