It was back to Green Valley for our regular Sunday bash and Eddy ‘the Eagle’ Beilby was the star of the day as he took the man of the match honours with a rock solid 39 points.

It was a tough slog out there today as the temperatures soared and you had to keep a cool head, quite literally, to do well.  Bill Eyles also had a good day to claim the second spot on the podium with 35 points.  The minor flight place went to a count back between Peter ‘the right honorable’ LeNoury and a weeping ‘our man at the White House’ Wyckoff.  I think you can guess who came out on top in that.

Wednesday, May 3, Green Valley – Stableford

1st Andy Harrison (17) 30pts

2nd Wayne Harman (29) 29pts

Green Valley can be a very pleasant experience at this time of year, once the hordes of holiday makers are gone and the course is generally at its finest and most colorful.  So it was on this day as a small but talented group enjoyed their game although the course played very tough in this heat.

Andy Harrison took the match honours with just 30 points and was one stroke clear of Wayne Harman.

Friday, May 5, Plutaluang – Stableford

1st Mark Riley (3) 39pts

2nd Howard France (14) 39pts

A small group turned out to play the Plutalung course today and the layout was found to be in excellent condition with the weather once again being very warm.

Mark Riley turned in a very impressive 39 points of his 3-handicap to take the man of the match honours while Howard France took the flight silver a distant seven stroke back.
