PSC Golf from The Caddy Shack
Tuesday, Feb. 3, Pleasant Valley – Stableford
Pleasant Valley from the blue tees at about 6,350 yards was the venue for the re-launch of golf from The Caddy Shack. The weather looked after us, with clear skies and a good breeze made for some good golfing conditions. The course was also in good condition, the fairways providing some assistance and the greens running true, if only at a moderate pace.
Although we had only a small field, there was some good golf on display, with Jeff Wylie (H/cap 6) just edging Bob Edwards (11) on count back 20/17 after both signed for 39 points. Jason Barnett (4) also broke his handicap with a well compiled 37 points.
Near pins were shared between Bob & Jeff.
Thursday, Feb. 5, Khao Kheow – Stableford
Thursday saw the group re-trace their trip up Hwy 7, turning off on our way to Khao Kheow, where at again very close to 6,350 yards we played from the yellow tees. To use horse racing parlance, weather fine and track good provided ideal conditions for a good day’s golf.

Bob Edwards (11) again showed he has now returned to form, clearly winning the day with a well compiled 36 points to go with 2 near pins. Second place was decided on count back between Jeff (6) & Jason (4), with Jeff getting the nod 17/14 after both signed for 32 points.
Bob, Jeff & Jason each won a near pin and The Caddy Shack owner had also kindly donated some extra prizes for the group, which went into a lucky draw.
