Tuesday, March 22, Crystal Bay – Stableford
Tuesday we travelled to Crystal Bay, where the test was the B & C combination. The course was in good condition with the greens holding good shots, but still having enough pace to allow putting strokes, as opposed to hitting the ball.
The course certainly suited Jeff Wylie (8) who recorded a “best in a long while” score of 42 points while next best was Ken Hole (16) with 35. Near Pins were picked up by Rob & Jeff, with Ken securing 2.
Thursday, March 24, Greenwood – Stableford
Thursday was a journey up Hwy 331 to Greenwood and again the B & C layout was the allotted combination. Dave Edwards (16) continued his recent good form to post a solid 35 points, which could easily have been more with a bit of luck, or concentration. Tony Chetland (17) made good use of his last game before returning to Spain (to work) with 31 points for second spot.

Technicals on the day went to Dave, Tony & Frans, while 1 went unclaimed for a donation to Banglamung Boys Home.
Note: Mulligans Lakeside plays golf generally on Tuesday & Thursday (we sometimes change to accommodate a Thai Holiday).
