Congratulations go to the under-9 girls football team from Garden International School (GIS) who were recently crowned ‘One Day, One Goal’ champions following a local charity tournament.
Seven GIS teams travelled to St Andrews, Green Valley on January 17 for a five-a-side charity football tournament, competing against several local international schools. Both boys’ and girls’ teams represented GIS at U13, U11, U9 and boys U10 levels.

The victorious U9 girls football team came home with a trophy as the new champions of the ‘One Day One Goal’ event. In addition, the U11 girls were runners-up in their age group while the U13 girls team came third in their category.
GIS is based in Ban Chang, near Pattaya.
