Friday winner Ben Findon.
Twenty two players teed off on this difficult course and John O’Flynn played the full length of it, resulting in an excellent 2 over par score. Paul Smith pipped John for top spot on the A Flight, Paul coming in with a well constructed 37 points while Phonsie McGahan took third.
In the B Flight Les Hall had the best score of the day, 38 points, to finish ahead of Bernard Channing and Bruce Tollitt respectively.
Friday, Dec. 3, Green Valley – Stableford
A Flight
1st Mark West (14) 39pts
2nd Brian Orr (13) 37pts
B Flight
1st Ben Findon (19) 38pts
2nd Les Hall (18) 37pts
Green Valley was the usual Friday choice with 14 players in attendance. Headline man Mark Wet topped the premier flight with 39 points to finish one ahead of Brian Orr.
B Flight champion was once again Ben Findon on 38 points, while Les Hall took the runner up spot on count-back over Kevin Hamilton.
Ben Findon and Ted Gardner split the ‘2’s pot between them.
