PSC golf from The Three Sisters Bar
With a good crowd of golfers for our end of the month get together at Pattaya Country Club on Wednesday, Dec. 29, it was a close finish with 8 golfers within three strokes of the winner. Larry Emerson, who predicted that he would win, missed by a whisker. He tied for second with Dale Murphy at 34 points. Larry finally came ahead on count-back on the back nine.
The leader for the day was Donald Goins with 35 points. Don had to leave early before pictures could be taken at the end of the round. Don squeaked by as any mistake along the way would have cost him the tournament. Others were kicking themselves for making mistakes and not getting scoring a few more points.
Ciano Glavina came in with 33 points and four others were tied at 32. It was close at the top and anyone could have won. The rest of us faded in the distance down into the twenties.
