Paul “Take it Easy” Greenaway had a very easy time, taking all the handsome man vouchers at today’s outing at Green Valley.  If you need to rent a car or motorbike, see Paul and he will set you up regardless of your handicap.

In the B flight, that legendary Scotsman Henry O’Brien came out fighting with a great round of 40 points to grab first place honours.

Don’t for get to keep drinking water and electrolytes as our heat wave takes its’ toll once again.  Dehydration is a danger these days as the unseasonably high temperatures need to be taken seriously.

Wednesday, April 3, Crystal Bay (white tees) – Stableford

1st Masao Ishikawa (16) 36pts

2nd Ken Aihara (5) 35pts

3rd Frank Blazevic (0) 34pts

It was a sudden change of heart as we changed our published venue of Wangjuntra to Crystal Bay.  A smaller than average turnout seemed to be the result of weeks of hot, hot weather that had finally taken its’ toll on the gathered masses.  Guys that would never, ever think of taking a buggy were now riding happily along as a brief respite to the heat.

We were discussing the so called “winter” we never had and realized that not one evening was what you would call a chilly one.  It just never cooled down enough this year to cause any goosebumps riding over Pratumnak Hill.  I can’t wait for summer… not!

From the Land of the Rising Sun, Masao Ishikawa did well today in the Land of Smiles.  Masao-San has been a regular here with us for the last few months and today was his first place victory at last.  Fellow countryman Ken Aihara (Mr. Up and Down) was a shot behind on 35 and visiting pro Frank Blazevic from “Downundah” took third in today’s comp.  Thanks for joining us guys, and stay cool!

Note:  The Golf Club is located on Soi LK Metro.  We usually play on Monday, Wednesday and Friday so come join us for a seriously fun day out.  Just call 085 434 3377 or see our website www.golfclubpattaya.com  and for more information mail us: pattaya4golf@gmail .com and see updates at www.facebook.com/golfclubpattaya… all handicaps welcome!
